The new versions run on the latest versions of Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
These two excellent programs have long been in need of a major update, and both have been updated to version 1.80. The new versions of the programs work with Windows x64 10 1809 or newer; macOS 13 or newer (Universal Intel or Apple Silicon); Linux: x86/64, tested on Ubuntu 22.04, requires glibc 2.35 or newer, X11 or XWayland.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to maintain working code for older versions of various operating systems, even though we know that many of our customers are still actively using older OS versions.
Previous versions of the programs (prior to v1.80) ran on Windows 7 x86 and x64, Linux (x64 only), and Mac OS X (10.7, Intel x64 only). We’ve also included their ZIP files along with the new program versions in the Legacy folders, so you can be sure that if you download a program from our website, you’ll find a version in its folder that will run on your system.
The new versions of the CAN Log Viewer and YDVR Converter fix bugs and feature an updated user interface. YDVR Converter now supports up to 8 engines (and their numbers no longer need to be sequential).
